Description
The gentle Saanen goat likes to be petted. This head-shot shows well the slit-shaped pupil, which is characteristic of the eyes of goats, and the beard, a characteristic of both male and female goats. Kensington MetroPark, Milford, Michigan. Love it! I had a white nanny goat that looked like this one, when I was growing up on the farm! L.F.g+...love the eyes!

Many thanks for your gracious response, Karen. Yes, the eyes are most interesting... evidently characteristic of goats.

What a beautiful little creature! Whenever I have been around one, they were so busy moving around and trying to nibble on things that I was never been able to appreciate the beauty of their features. Those eyes are crazy, with slit pupils!!?? Their features are very delicate...love the cute little upturn of his mouth too! I love this portrait!!....fv

Many thanks for your gracious response, Sherri. I live in the city, but every once in a while drive out to a wonderful demonstration farm.
