Description
Depicting scenes of the changing seasons, a colorful glass and stone mosaic designed by Marc Chagall in his studio in France and installed and given as a gift to the city in 1974, The Four Seasons dominates the Chase Tower Plaza in downtown Chicago, Illinois. It is 70 ft. long, 14 ft. high, and 10 ft. wide. Mosaic images cover both sides and the ends of what is essentially a huge box. A protective glass canopy was installed in 1994.
