Description
Its stem no longer able to support it, the lovely flower bows low. The genus Narcissus was named for the youth of Greek mythology who was so proud of himself that he could love no other. He fell in love with his reflection in a pool and stared at it continually and finally drowned. Poetry and image meet in this work entitled Beautiful Narcissus, copyright 2004 Ann Horn.
