In early summer cattails and willows green a large marshland at the edge of Lake Erie in Point Pelee National Park, Leamington, Ontario, Canada. The park is a natural flyway for migrating birds and a haunt for bird watchers. The poem Occasional Birder was written and copyrighted in 2000 by Ann Horn, who has combined it with the image entitled Marshland, copyright 2009 Ann Horn.
