Built in 1882, the Wyoming Baptist Church of Cincinnati, Ohio features a large colorful stained glass Star of David window. A hexagram composed of two equilateral triangles, it was used as a decorative symbol in Christian churches before its first known use in a Jewish synagogue. Copyright 2016 Ann Horn. Thank you very much for your informative comment, Morris. This very large window in a quite small wooden church building can be seen from the street and also, of course, from inside where this was taken when I attended a service with my sister-in-law, who is choir director there.

Your Description is informative, as the Star of David was a religious symbol used by Jews and Christians for hundreds of years, and adopted as a universal symbol of Judaism in the late 1800's. F/L
