Description
The Albert Bridge crosses the Thames River in West London and connects Chelsea on the north bank to Battersea on the south. It is nicknamed The Trembling Lady because of its tendency to vibrate when there are many pedestrians on it. Signs at each entrance warn troops from nearby Chelsea Barracks to break step when crossing. London, England. Copyright 2007 Ann Horn. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
