Artist's Description

The Ambassador Bridge, an international crossing between the United States and Canada, frames the riverfront of downtown Detroit, Michigan. Opposite Detroit is Windsor, Ontario. The river runs from east to west between the two cities, but after flowing under this bridge, it turns toward the south. So for a short distance Canada is south of the United States.
