I totally feel what you did when this 'member of your family' was cut down and taken away. I am always sad when I see a tree has fallen or been taken down. I guess I have passed that on to my grandchildren, who gasped in horror upon seeing a wooded lot near their home had been cleared. They were quite angry! Love your image and poem . . . .fv
