Description
The Quadracci Pavilion of the Milwaukee Art Museum on the Wisconsin shore of Lake Michigan was designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. It was opened in 2001 as an addition to an existing building, which houses the majority of the permanent collection. Light enters the spacious Windhover Hall though numerous windows, one of which is this skylight. Copyright 2011 Ann Horn. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.

Many thanks for your complimentary comment, Kathy. The Milwaukee Art Museum is a marvel because of its architectural beauty, as well as for its art collection.
