Description
In Philadelphia, where the United States Constitution was signed on July 4, 1776 and the Constitution on September 17, 1787, the American flag is given pride of place. Here, a large flag hangs in the balcony of what was originally the Philadelphia Bourse Building, home of the first commodities exchange in the United States. Now simply called the The Bourse, it houses retail and food service businesses and an office complex. The building is listed in the National Registry of Historic Buildings. Copyright 2011 Ann Horn. Americans love their flag! And in Texas you’ll see even more, along with the Texas Lone Star Flag! FAV

Words of affirmation from one well acquainted with the subject are especially welcome and very much appreciated, Christopher. Thank you.
