Description
The Inner Light, shown here, is one of two lighthouses on the South Pier at the entrance of the Grand River into Lake Michigan. A portion of the catwalk, which connects the inner light to the shore and to the second light at the end of the pier, can also be seen. A lighthouse was first lit on this site in 1839, the present light constructed in 1905. Grand Haven, Michigan. Copyright 2016 Ann Horn. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
