Description
The Grande Roue (Ferris Wheel) and the 3,200 year old Luxor obelisk are seen together in the Place de la Concorde in Paris, France. The wheel was dismantled in 2002, re-erected in the UK in 2003 and 2004, and later traveled to the Netherlands and Bangkok. Though it had been re-erected in Paris in 2007, when I took this photo, I am uncertain about its present status. Copyright 2007 Ann Horn. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Ann. I love the forms and colour in this piece. Simplistic and; yet, so appealing on the eye!.

Thank you so much for your generosity, Lenore. (No, I didn't know...I never want to take anyone for granted.)

I really like your composition in this image Ann. It makes me want to travel around and through it to explore all that it has to offer. Great tonality as well!

Patricia, Byron, Sandra, Odd, and Will... my thanks to each of you for your very generous comments about this image, which I shot in Paris in 2007 and just got around to process last night! How's that for an oversight?
