Many thanks for sharing your thoughts about this image, Kevin. I do take more photos of gulls than of other birds... most likely because they to like to stay put a while... the other birds are too fast for me... patience lacking, I guess!

I love this deep and spiritual image!! i see a solitude gull getting in touch with its soul and the universe, meditating along the bliss the wind and the sound of waves, reflecting life and recent experience, pondering what lessons it has learned recently and projecting what it want to explore as adventures for near future!! i really have the impression that this gull is a wise guy and have lots of wisdom to share, only if we could understand its thoughts!! by the way, very charming composition in this gorgeous image!! seems like gulls enjoy having pictures taken by you Ann!!
