Description
A sailboat passes the Holland Harbor Light, often called Big Red. At the entrance of the channel connecting Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa, it provides access to the city of Holland, Michigan. The first lighthouse was built in 1872 and was replaced by the present structure in 1907. Copyright 2013 Ann Horn. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
