Description
The remarkable architectural feature soaring over the Milwaukee Art Museum is the moveable Burke Brise Soleil sunscreen with a 217 foot wingspan. The graceful wings unfold and fold twice daily unless the wind speed reaches 23 miles per hour or greater. In that case, wind sensors automatically close the wings. Copyright 2011 Ann Horn. Thank you very much for your kind words of affirmation, Bob. The Milwaukee Art Museum is a fascinating building, both outside and in.
