Description
In Sainte-Chapelle, the royal medieval Gothic chapel built in Paris by Louis IX in 1248 AD, over 1,000 biblical and other religious scenes are pictured in stained glass in fifteen magnificent windows, each fifty feet high. Imaged here is one of the windows and the slender columns which separate them as they soar to the vaulted roof. Copyright 2014 Ann Horn. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
